REI Sale!!!!

Ok, so let me just express my excitement about REI having a sale! This store is beyond amazing and makes you want to challenge yourself physically and makes you think that you can climb any mountain and hike anywhere if only you spent ten zillion dollars on all their equipment. Well I am here to bring you some good news! Now, you can get all your equipment for a fraction of the price. Today, I went on a mini shopping spree there, and I got an eno (which is a super awesome hammock that you can easily hang between trees and folds up into a tiny little thing). O, and did I mention that they are so super comfortable. Here is a picture to show you what I am talking about. Oh, and there is my little doggie Sophie! She is a cuddler.

This is Eno DoubleNest Hammock. There is also a single nest, but after talking to someone at REI, it sounds like the doublenest (bigger one) is more comfortable and the best option (oh ya, its cheaper while this sale is going on). In addition to the hammock, you will need a set of straps. I got the SlapStrapPro which wrap around the tree and hook to both sides of the hammock.
The hammock normally costs $65, but on sale, it cost $45, so that saves ya 20 bucks. Just by doing a quick search on the internet, I did could not find ANY enos under $50, and that is pre-shipping price, so this is a super dealio! Then, the straps normally cost $25, but on sale, they were $16! That saves you 9 bucks for a grand total of $29 savings.
In addition to the hammock, I also bought an REI Ladro Jacket which is basically a super thick zip up hoodie. This was on clearance for $40, and it was normally $120, so that is a savings of $80 or about a 67% saving. This jacket is windproof and resists rain, dries fast, and insulating. It also has earholes for your Ipod. It's super light weight, but will also keep me nice and warm on chilly hikes!
Cliffbar are also a great source of energy for long workouts and hikes. They are on sale, 25% off which makes them $0.99. Their camelbaks are also on sale. These are basically just bookbags with a waterpouch in them, so you can drink while you hike. They are awesome. REI is having sales all over the store, so go online or to the store and check them out to get all your nice outdoor gear for much cheaper. O, and as a side note, REI guarantees that you wll be happy with all of your purchases and will allow returns or refunds no matter how long you wait whether its two days or fifteen years.

Perfect Love

I realize that this is not a blog about social issues, BUT I saw this on facebook, thought it was really powerful and felt the need to share.

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:

'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.

So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?'

She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!

'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.'

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb.

The crime is the same!

If you agree, please SHARE. Together we can help save precious lives!

"Love says I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person. Abortion says I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself..."

Jesus sacrificed Himself for the good of sinners! That's perfect love!

You are a gift from God, planned from the  beginning of time, and a baby is a gift no matter how unexpected or unplanned he or she may be.

"For You formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

Amazon Amazing-ness!

Hey there! I hope everyone has had a superb week so far. It's so beautiful outside with the sun shining and 100000% humidity! Hope you like hair frizzies because you can't get around them :) I want to introduce you to the world of online shopping on this awesome site called amazon. Now I'm sure that many of yall have heard of it, maybe bought a thing or two off of it, but do you realize that amazing steals you can find? If not, keep reading!
With summer just around the corner, there is much potential for boredom, but Amazon has movies upon movies that you can watch for FREE if you are a prime member (I'll tell ya how to become one later)! Just click on the word movies with the hyperlink and it'll take you exactly where you wanna be! Ya, that's right, zero, zilch, nada. Some of these movies to name a few are: The Magestic, Training Day, Conspiracy Theory, Charlie's Angels, and I could go on and on.
In addition to movies, you can also get a bunch of new songs for only $.69! Thats like half the price of itunes, which might not seem much, but if you save a few cents here and there, you'll start seeing the difference!
You can also visit today's deals to find some super steals. One that I just found is a pretty sweet watch, originally $895.00 (Invicta diver's watch) for $71.99. Father's day is just a little over a month away, so it would make a really great gift!
So if you are not familiar with Amazon Prime, let me help you out a little! It is about $80 a year, which, if you shop online a lot, can end up being a better deal rather than paying for shipping. You can also stream movies and videos for free which saves you $.99-$3.99 a video. You have free 2 day shipping rather than the option of having 3-5 day shipping. Best part is, if you are a student, you  just enter your student e-mail address and you get a year for FREE! You can also set up a free trial just to see if you like it! Also, if you are a mommy or caregiver of any kind, you also get it for free. Just click here!
Basically, I just want to make you aware that bargain shopping doesn't always require clipping coupons. You might have to wait 2 days to get your item, but you could save huge amounts of money by being a little patient. Another nice thing about amazon is that there are customer reviews, so even if I don't plan on buying the item from this site, I read their reviews by other customers who have bought the same item to see what they have to say about it. I wouldn't be saving money if I bought something that doesn't work or that I will end up not using!
Also, there is a big neighborhood garage sale (pretty well off residents=good finds!) Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm in Towne Lake Hills off of Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock, GA. If you go to 5075 Winding Hills Lane, the profits for the sales go to support the fight against breast cancer.

Hope you all have an amazing day! Remember that happiness does not come by the things you have or how good you are at saving money, but rather through the small things in life. Jesus loves you! You are blessed beyond belief-even when things seem tough!

You're blessed when you are at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. "You're blessed when you feel you've lost what's most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you. You're blessed when you're content with just who you are-no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought."
~Matthew 5:3-5 (The Message)

My favoritest deals out of my collection favorite bargains

Hello! I hope has had a wonderful and blessed Friday! It's the weekend-yay! This blog is basically everything shopping, but shopping that you can afford without buying items that are low quality. I'll be blogging about smart, money saving shopping :) With prices on everything rising daily, we all need to save a little money somehow, but compromising your style doesn't have to be the answer!

Here are some of my favorite fashion finds along with the price and where I found them! Along with a description, I'll also have links to the websites where you can find them! Enjoy:

FRYE heels- Frye shoes are known for their comfort and long lasting quality! They are always so stylish, but the downside is, you pay for that quality ($150+) unless....you bargain shop! I got mine on clearance at Marshalls for, are you ready....$20! And let me tell you, they are probably one of my most comfortable pair of heels. I can wear them 7-8 hours straight without any problems.

So one of my new favorite styles is feather earrings! Forever 21 has bunches and bunches of them and for super cheap! I think I spent maybe $2.50 on the and $3.50 on the peacock and big black feather ones. They are such a fun way to accessorize and be a little eccentric at the same time!

One of my most favorite tops is a tank top from Charlotte Russe-it has a built in necklace that is attached to the collar which is awesome! It's so extremely soft and comfy and has that racer back cut that keeps the straps from falling down on your shoulders. The best part is that I only spent like $3 on it, and it was normally $20. I bought this one about November or December, right before the Christmas season.

So ladies-just remember- don't ever feel like you have to completely cut out new clothes and accessories from your budget. You may not be able to spend $30-40 on a shirt anymore, but that just means you have to bargain shop by searching through the clearance racks, shopping when the stores have a promotional that offer an additional percentage off, or better yet, shop the end of the season! Have a great weekend and Happy Shopping :)

P.S.- Look for a giveaway of some super fun jewelry when I reach 25 followers! So tell your friends!
